Grace shared how early experiences and mentorship inspired her space career ambitions, highlighting her involvement in research, internships, and science communication. 

Grace has interned at CSIRO with the Parkes Radio Observatory, and has also conducted literature reviews with Australian Astronomical Optics for a research project on the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope on the effect of cosmic rays on astronomical instrumentation. She was the the inaugural recipient of the 3 year Phillip Riley Scholarship in Renewable Energy, and has also worked on a project which studied near-Earth objects using the Australia Telescope Compact Array.
